This November, the girls from Sting Austin ECNL G11 Schever’s took a hands-on approach to giving back by partnering with the Round Rock Area Serving Center.
Together, they created cozy blankets for children in hospitals and crisis centers, choosing the organization for its deep roots in the community and its commitment to supporting local families across the areas where the players live, study, and play soccer.
The project also gave the team a chance to bond off the field. They spent time together listening to music, catching up, and enjoying the opportunity to come together while working toward something meaningful.
Beyond the blankets, the team extended their outreach to Cheyanna’s Champions for Children (CC4C), a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of Texas children with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions.
The girls were moved by CC4C’s mission of supporting children facing extraordinary challenges and contributed by creating birthday cards meant to brighten a child’s day.
